Privacy Policy

The short version

By default, G4R stores everything on your device — no server, no collection, no selling of your data. If you choose to create the optional G4R Account, your garage is also stored on our server so it can sync between your devices; that section below explains exactly what that means. You can delete the account — and everything on the server — at any time.

Sign-in

G4R requires Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in to create a local account record. The identifier, name, and email returned by Apple or Google are stored in your device's secure storage. Unless you opt into a G4R Account, they are never sent to us. Apple and Google process the sign-in itself under their own privacy policies.

G4R Account (optional cloud sync)

The G4R Account is opt-in and requires Premium. If you never create one, nothing leaves your device. If you do create one:

What we store: your sign-in identity (provider, its user identifier, and email), your device list, and your garage data — vehicles, replacement items, schedules, notes, order and service history, and photos — as a change history that keeps your devices in sync.

Where and how: on infrastructure hosted by Cloudflare, encrypted in transit and at rest by the hosting platform. It is not end-to-end encrypted: 4DAT LLC is technically able to read the data on the server. We access it only to operate the service (for example, storage-limit enforcement or abuse prevention), never to sell it, share it, or advertise with it.

Retention and deletion: data stays until you delete it. Deleting your G4R Account — in the app (Settings → G4R Account → Delete Cloud Account) or on this site at garage4reorder.com/account — permanently erases everything stored on the server, including photos. Deleting the account inside the app's "Delete Account & Data" flow also purges the server copy. Data on your devices always remains yours and is unaffected by server deletion.

Your data

Vehicles, replacement items, schedules, notes, order history, and photos you add are stored locally on your device (and, only if you opted into a G4R Account, on our server for sync). Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device. Face ID / Touch ID / biometric checks are performed by the operating system; biometric data never reaches the app or 4DAT LLC.

To delete your data, delete your vehicles in the app or remove the app from your device. Signing out removes the local account record; vehicle data remains on the device until you delete it. Server-side data is deleted as described in the G4R Account section above.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Affiliate links

Reorder buttons open Amazon with a search query for your vehicle and the 4DAT Associate tag (tag=4dat-20). As an Amazon Associate, 4DAT LLC earns from qualifying purchases. Once you leave the app, Amazon's privacy policy applies. The app does not display Amazon prices, ratings, reviews, or availability.

No tracking

The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

This website

The affiliate link tester on this site keeps its audit log in your browser's local storage only; it is not sent to a server. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the tester.
